Without fully understanding the reason behind certain regional dependencies, it is unfair to blame the phone manufacturer or app developer for any issues one may have on regional variations in availability.

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2010It's doing fine, check out the GSMArena front page and curr... moreYes you are absolutely right. Had this nice hardware been with Android, or even their old familiar OS, I guess it would have sold big time, Now (almost) every potential buyer is awaiting whether "Bada" will survive and thrive or just being matching the first three letters...

Personally I'm one of the people waiting...

Free gps navigation, with downloadable free maps, similar to OVI (and I don't just mean on-line Google-maps), could be what would persuade me to give it a go... Any number of free games won't do it, I'm not ten years any more...

Or a "wave-pro" same size, perhaps slightly thicker, with a qwerty-slide-keyboards. That would make be immediately switch away from my four months old N97mini...
(Like the pair "wave 2" and the "wave 2 pro" - but keeping the super-amoled WVGA-screen of the "wave")
