Guys :) every PHONE has it pros and cons, either ANDROID or IPHONE. You cannot say that Android phones are perfect because they are not, same as Iphone too. If you want to buy Iphone then buy it! simple as that. If you don't like Iphone and want to have Android phone then buy Android phone. No need to say Android phone is this and that and No need to say Iphone is this and that. Simple rule- IF YOU WANT TO HAVE IPHONE THEN GO FOR IPHONE AND IF YOU WANT ANDROID PHONE THEN GO FOR ANDROID PHONE.

itunes not required all the time I cannot recollect when i used itunes for my phone last time
I dont have a wifi connection and still use my mobile data all the time and it works fine
I'd agree on over pricing
Had high chances on getting the Iphone SE but all in vain as the prices in India are almost double as compared to prices in the States

Sorry bro.. I'm not apple fan.. I can keep it as my secondary phone as i have problem with its pc connectivity issue and much more os restrictions (I don't remember as i use it only when my friends ask me to transfer music from my pc to their iPhone).. Yes price is damn high initially.. It will go down usually. And model also become old..
And OS needs to be re written?? Unless it gives problem to users we don't need to worry.. And if it is giving problem to them they will do the necessary things. I use windows phone with some restrictions and more problems. I think my phone is value for money 3.5/5..

I recommend its better to buy samsung s6 or s6 edge in same price and more features and also very nice design than the iphone SE.

Most people here in India buy iPhone because they just want to let people know that they have bought an "Apple iPhone" (see Apple logo at the back). They really do not care about how good is iOS, or retina display, or A9, or iSight camera. Later they complain, ohh my god, cannot transfer files via bluetooth, always requires iTunes, no file manager, no custom ringtones, requires wifi most of the times (cellular data wont work). shits

Many phones are still on Android Lolipop which has WiFi issues.
Power management of Android phones is pathetic.
Video playback bug especially while playing videos on YouTube.
Flashlight bug, If you leave the flashlight on for a while, for example when you're struggling to find your keys in the dark, and it automatically times out, then the flashlight will be busted until you do a reboot.
Camera bug on some phones where the icon to select the front-facing camera is no longer there after OTA update.
Xiaomi one of the most discussed manufacturer of Android phones was caught leaking user data to Chinese servers.
Google Drive scam which leaks your bank account and credit card details.
Inconsistent updates on all devices.
Device charging issue, even on Nexus devices.
Random reboots, a problem which is still not solved on Android.
You know in February federal agencies found some apps in Google Playstore which were published by terrorist group ISIS, this clearly portrays that Google Playstore is nowhere as secure as iTunes Store and Microsoft Store.
Lot of Android users claim that malware and adware infect an Android if someone enable unknown sources but in numerous cases they were infected by malware even though they installed their apps from Playstore, a major reason behind this is Playstore isn't as stringent in terms of checks as iTunes Store and Microsoft Store.
iOS bugs are more publicized because unlike Google Android developers Apple admits it's bugs and works towards eradicating them.

Apple has had quality issues with their design (who can forget Jobs telling people they are holding the phone wrong on the antenna design problem), production and IOS software quality for years and years now.
IOS 9.x provides a great example of the quality problems. It's just over 6 months old and they're now at release 9.3.1 and look at the problems!

Someone wrote that IOS needs to be re-written from the ground up because engineers can not efficiently add new features or debug the OS because there is so much spaghetti code. If you Apple fanbots love iphones so much you should be demanding more from Apple so you get a better product.
Right now, the only thing premium about the iphone is the price.

Wow! That's some price for a phone which is just 4" and has a dated design. Apple's intentions was to get people hooked on to their Eco-system in emerging markets, but for many this price is too steep considering the various options available on Android. But in emerging markets the biggest problem for android players is that no matter what product Apple produces "An Apple phone in someones hand is a statement that he or she has arrived".

So if you were to give Apple 100% margin, that means the phone should be $320.
I think 100% margin is greed. What Apple charges for their product is unethical. But this is a good example of free market economics and what brand marketing can do.
