No, I do not find it at all strange that a PHONE does not have a FLASH. Now if I was buying a camera I could see it being a little strange or if I was buying a phone that did not make phone calls I would find that strange as well but a phone without a flash, nope not that strange

I find a phone of in this category/price range with no LED flash is mind boggling. Makes no sense at all. Does this bother anyone else?

Some websites say the Galaxy S has a front facing camera and some just don't say. Does this have the front camera or not. There is a circle at the top of the phone where the camera should be. Why is this so mysterious? Is it there or not!!!

The Captivate has a gyroscope which is awesome: http://briefmobile.com/samsung-att-captivate -- and I like the new Media Hub idea... you'll be able to buy all the movies/tv content you want on all the Galaxy S devices. Overall, the Galaxy S is going to be a great Android addition because: Android 2.2 update guaranteed PLUS a phone for each carrier. Development should be really good on these devices. Lots of custom ROMs.

That is very true, they do rip us off senseless, but one thing is for sure this phone should be well worth it. I already called T-Mobile this morning and created my account and had them send me two sim cards. Should be here on the 2nd or so, then I have 20 days grace period if I need to change something or cancel. That should be enough time to know if I am going to be able to order it as expected on the 21st. If not I will have to cancel and wait for them to get the darn thing in... I cant wait.... lol

Reviewer should have mentioned that T-Mo offers their phones at low prices IF the buyer signs a 2 year contract (T-Mo got rid of the 1 year contract in 2009)!!

Another problem... T-Mo USA has their Own proprietary 3G network that's NOT compatible with the rest of the world 1700/2100 bands while the rest of the world uses other bandwidths!

This explains why the iPhone can NOT use T-Mo's 3G network!

Why do these stories continue to state these arbitrary $200 USD figures, without mentioning it's with a 24 contract??

In the UK, Australia etc, these phones get given for FREE on similar contracts. THe US telcos rip their customers off senseless.

Seriously how stupid can you get, this is like the iPhone 4 tread all over again. A bunch of people were complaining how the in the US you could get it for $200 16gb/$300 32gb and in UK you had to pay £500 16gb/£600 32gb got that was a stupid convo, the amount of time it took them to understand...
