Apple made a big deal about that because there wasn't much else that changed.

Apple watch blows. The first model was junk. The new offering is much better, which explains why so many people want to upgrade.
Not that Apple would intentionally withhold features and functionality to get their customers to upgrade and keep the revenue coming. Naaaaa. Apple wouldn't do that! :P

Great comments guys. Keep hating. The Apple Watch blows any Androidwear watch out of the water, even some diehard Android reviewers admitted this. The 2nd-gen will widen the gap more

iPhone... moreOne of the biggest changes were in:
iOS7 = New flat design
iOS8= Support NFC for Apple Pay
iOS9= Split screen view for iPhone 6+ and iPad Air
On all three also, the, slide up screen from the botttom, with shortcuts.
Oh, and in iOS9, the new App Switcher.
So, "innovation" is really not in iOS' dictionary.
No to bash iOS; but those features have been present in Android for AGES;
but, credit is due to iOS for being consistently smooth.
