People, slow down. The reason you are not getting the update is because it is NOT yet released for all regions!
Currently the update is available for the Ukraine, Russia, Middle East and Northern Africa.

Slow ass roll out it seems, my D5803 model Z3 Compact still waits for the Marshmallow ._. I'm hoping it will come this week (week 16).

The reason is maybe you use the flashtool.
I updated my z2 though wifi download, it simple and easy, it just have to keep a cool environment when process the software update, DURING the update will rise some heat and it is normal, as I know how to handle.
I have to mention that I drop my Z2 before update the MM software to my Z2, yes I have restart the phone for ensure the phone run probably and the update is WORTH and PLENTY!
After update it is very nice! If you activated the Battery Saver the UI will respond as fast as lighting without "animate" (no butter between the page changing), exclude the home screen still have the animate while swiping to left right.

Can somebody with D6653 variant of Xperia Z3, tell me the latest lollipop build that you have in your phone. Mine is 23.4.A.1.232, but the online support page shows 23.4.A.1.264. I couldnt find any new updates ota or via Xperia Companion.

i update to 6.0.1 my xperia z3 d5803 via flashtool, but i dont like it dont feel smooth as lollipop 5.1.1 i like that you can uninstall several apps google incluided , new cam but pics are the same IMO, so i return to 5.1.1 hope soon can fix that to come back to 6.0.1

I don't know why every manufacturer isn't taking advantage of the accelerometer and other sensors to implement sleep/wake features to conserve as much power as possible.

The camera focus is faster than previous version. We can swipe down the home page to launch a suggested apps page. We can change the UI pane transition animate effects. New icon for small apps. Added a do not disturb toggle in the notification. The simple home become more beautiful and still has a clear and user friendly UI, I really love it!
