"G5 shoots better photos than the S7"
Hey the s7 is meant for super-quick focussing and low light photography.. So ya, with phones sitting on tripod, enough time to focus, G5 images r bound to be the better ones, when zoomed, with higher pixels..
Better images? Yes
Better camera? No

Well bringing a new product yearly is better than refining and fine polishing an average product which Samsung clearly did this year. LG G5 is not a well finished product. Well Samsung won the race this year . Its not over for LG yet. For them, the race just started :)

Someone paying that much amount for a phone definitely wants a durable product and no doubt S7 is more durable . Just saying from a neutral point of view. Hats off to LG for showing us a new class :)

Was hoping the g5 would be somewhere on par with the s7 or slightly ahead in some areas. Ehh, i need to fix up my s3 a bit so that i can have another decent year with it (bought it October 2012).

The camera is the least thing i think about when i choose my next phone. Both my cameras are covered with black tape anyway :D
Being waterproof and having sd card are the main things i care about a phone, besides having the best processor & graphics chip.
The S7 has all that i want. And usually i troll Sammy with every chance i got. I admit the S7 is an excellent device by my standards and I'm considering of switching from Sony to Sammy.
Surviving 1 hour in the washing machine and 10 hours in the freezer is good enough for me.
As for the G5, all i can say is: FUGLY!

The S7 won due to its better design, camera, display and being a overall better package. Gsmarena.com is among the few sites that claims that LG G5 did better in the camera department, so we can take that into consideration. Overall S7 is a great phone.

I always go with whoever has the best to offer at that time. Now its the S7 by far , didnt even touch S4 , S5 and S6 though.....

Cleary LG made some bad decisions with the G5...mainly the battery life. When that aspect improves with the next model, I'll consider getting another LG.
