See? That was exactly my point. Companies tell you that this is what you want, bigger numbers, and you fall for it, not even thinking: "Do I really?" If this technology will have a visible and practical use to me, I will "embrace" it. For now I see it as an useless gimmick.

1080p on 5.2" is perfect for me but at least put in a Mali T880 MP8 that would match the performance of the MP12 in the Galaxy S7 because it has less pixels to push. Great phone though. Thumbs up to Huawei.

I have a 24" monitor that's 1080p and it's really hard to see 1x1 pixel on it, you have to be seriously close to the panel to spot it. My Flex 2 is 5.5" fHD and I wouldn't trade it for QHD. You don't see the reason with battery life? Fine. How about useless gimmick? Same as curved edges of the screen. Look. You have your opinion. You wanna go QHD on a phone? That's great, whatever suits your needs. I'll be better off with 1080p.

I simply choose the battery life and less heat over QHD display, simply because they are practically invisible to the naked eye. Makes sense when you have 40" TV or something. 5.5" screen will not benefit from QHD, it's another numbers game, that companies are playing along with CPU and GPU. Besides...Huawei is much cheaper when you compare P9 to S7.

Ju... moreIm sorry to tell you that my eyes can decern pixels on a 1080 screen on my Z2 specially when im lying on my bed looking at a chathead on my facebook messenger, 4K is the future standard in the near future IMHO.

What's the point of a camera that shoots 2k if you cannot see it in 2k? Smartphones are no longer for calling and texting you know

Hot until I saw that the plus is 1080 with no 4K capabilities.. it's like apple enabling 4k shooting with a 640p screen.. like what to do if you don't want to use your 4k laptop or 4k mac? It is just ..
