AnonD-404798, 13 Apr 2016every phone will crack if you drop it form height...Sony us... moreactually its not written anywhere that sony uses any of these glasses...that has been pointed out by various phone review websites including gsma at their release times...afaik these are just hardened glass from sony...

I've been using my z1 for more than 2 yrs,... morei think you got lucky with your z1, i suppose you haven't checked out the forums at that time?? i was one of the early adaptors of z1 andpeople were running around for finding replacements for their cracked screens..and btw sony was repairing the phones at half the MRP of the original phone..ditched the phone and went for an asus zenfone(sadface)

viveksubhash, 13 Apr 2016i dont get it...i thought sony x series was unveiled...also... moreu got a fake z1? I've been using my z1 for more than 2 yrs, without any case, only tempered glasses on both sides, dropping it countless times, yet the glass never break, only dented marks on the frame. Thats why I dont like the metal back on xperia x, sure will have lots of dented marks on it when dropping, while it wont on a glass.

viveksubhash, 13 Apr 2016i dont get it...i thought sony x series was unveiled...also... moreevery phone will crack if you drop it form height...Sony uses both Dragon Trail glass and Gorilla glass for their phones...it seams you where actually unfortunate enough to get the Gorilla glass version...

Xperia Z5 series is still too good, even for in 2016, and Xperia X series was unnecessary... and why change the name from "Premium" to "Performance" ..

If you put li... moreDon't say something without touching or owning the device, i have the Z5 Premium and lately i own the galaxy S7 Edge, the real life usage is desame the only advantage that i see on my s7 edge has more fancy function on the edge but not a big deal i can leave without it, overall my experience on both phone are equall and i love them both, camera are both superb there are situation that my S7 is better on on my Z5, same on the Z5 Premium the camera this 2 phones are fantastic, on gaming strange because the Z5 is more cooler than my S7 edge on 1 hour gaming of intensive games like 2k16, and racing games.

i dont get it...i thought sony x series was unveiled...also whats the use of having cool colours when you are going to cover them up with 3rd party covers(xperia phones are prone to cracking like eggshells as there is no certified gorilla glass, experience from a z1)...love the designs..
imo people in media are just vomiting up whatever these companies feed them..afterall they are the ones who get to actually meet up the execs of these companies..so they must be the ones who should try to bring out a change..
