this great! I like the QWERTY keyboard. It is thin + QWERTY keyboard. But I still stick on n8 because of its xenon flash ^^

This is crap and will fail not attractive as iphone 4 and i bet its still stuck on the low end resolution 640*360 which should be for low end devices and symbian ui is already light years behind what the competition offers before its even released. Best devices are iphone 4,samsung galaxy,samsung wave and nokia are as good as dead lets see you sell 1.7million n8 crap in 3 days or wait lets make it 3 moths or years

Some sites say that this is the N9, some say its not. Dont know what to believe. But Im not really excited about this release. It looks exactly like he N8(although it could be the keyboard version of it)
Nokia should at least change the design a bit instead of making it look the same as the N8(Not that the N8 has a bad design).

i dont have problm with symbian 1 ui
symbian 3 has great improvement and it is more attractive
symbian 4 will focus more on eye candy and whole ui
you can expect symbian 4, maemo and meego has some similar ui
one littile eye candy i have noticed is the transparent background for shortcut widget,

Looks beautiful, different looking slider than other mobiles, slightly angled upwards,gives good viewing angles!!!! Nice Nokia!!!!!

i think the screen is 3.7 inches or 4 inches.
if this the one running a snapdragon cpu, ill get this one rather than the n8

Nokia has explicitly stated that there will be no more Symbian Nseries devices after the N8. Which means, this is not the N9. It can only be a variant of the N8 family of devices. The already announced device is named N8-00. This one could be N8-01, as somebody has already mentioned above.

Since theres a downgrade in the camera...I'd say it's not the sucessor to the N8, so I think it may be C7 or something.

is this comes with anonized aluminum? if it does then the build quality is a top notch. maybe nokia should released more phones with anonized aluminum to be a trend setter in flashy aluminum case. Htc do have aluminum casings but its only in white (legend) and brown in desire, hero and nexus 1.
