Gresso-designed iPhone 4 is a joy to behold

29 June, 2010
Sure, the Apple iPhone 4 is stylish enough on its own with its glass-coated body, metal frame and slim profile, but it still doesn't come anywhere near the Gresso limited edition version. Available in...

I hate it when people brag about their phones. All I hear is "better this" or "better that".. All that matters is, I'm NOT DUMB enough to buy ANY phone that has serious signal problems. It's a DUMB and SMART situation. What's it gonna be?! Btw, Apple have NO plans on recalling the IP4 based on the statements they have released on their website.

[deleted post]It's your PC that gives of the "IP" signature on GSMarena, not your you network or Wifi, hence the PC signature. I can empty cache my PC and scramble the signature to give of a completely diffrent signature from the same network. This signature on GSM has nothing to do with what IP adress you have, it's local network you are apart of inside the same house

suvdaguv, 01 Jul 2010As a fully accredited Nokia engineer (accredited by Nokia t... moreAre you kidding or are just that daft? Don't tell me you just drew a comparison to Lamborghini and BMW employees with Nokia employees?

Nokia makes on average €400 handsets which all official Nokia employees gets as work and promotional, do you really think Lamborgini give all their €2000 a month emplyoees €300 000 cars as workbenefits? Really mate?

Did the repair centre do a IQ test before they offered you a job or are you just that uneducated that it's scary?

Whether you are certified by Nokia as a repairman or not has nothing to with my comment and answer. It still dosen't change the fact the you are not a official Nokia employee and do not work at Nokia Care Centre. What part of the clear red line of subject in the conversation did you not follow?

Before a answered yoyur first comment you made it sound like you work at a Nokia Care Centre and use an iPhone 4, which would have been total bull lie.

Go back to highschool, learn how to comprehend the English language, boost you IQ and then come back when can follow the little dot in front of you in better way so you don't need to stray of the subject of matter when talking.

The IQ boost might also help you not to answer you ypur own comments and give yourself kudos cause everey can see from your PC signature you are the same person i case you didn't know.

And please, no more daft comparisons like Lamborgini and Nokia, thaa was just plain scary for someone who is supposedley a sane person walking around in society.

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2010Now you are talking about a simple Nokia affiliated repair ... moreAs a fully accredited Nokia engineer (accredited by Nokia themsleves I might add) I think I have every right to voice my opinion on Nokia's bad attempts to regain the mobile market. They may sell a lot but they're no Apple or BlackBerry and they're even miles off HTC who are closing in. Its upto the user what phone they have, not their company. Dya think all Lamborghini or BMW employees have Murcielago's or 5 series? Some may lease them from the manufacturer but not many buy them! I for one wont be having a Nokia anytime soon. Its obvious you are a wannabe who has no clue so I'm going to leave you to think about your life as I continue to repair N900's and N97's etc as it seems you need to try and belittle people to make yourself feel good. Goodluck with that diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!

Goodbye (don't expect a reply as I'm not goin to play your games little boy)

Maybe you should visit an actual Nokia Care Centre before you tell people you work for one. Seeing as you say that work you in a phoneshop you should know the difference.

If i wouldn't have replied to your comment people would think you were a official Nokia employee running around with a no reception yellow spot screen iPhone 4.

Next time, do it right or not at all.

If you were so on the ball (which you obviously think you are but clearly are not) then you would know that nokia have many of their repair centres within other phone shops located all over the uk (not sure if its the same for other countries) so that customers get handsets repaired in a quicker turnaround just like apple. therefore as we are a just a phone shop selling many other branded phones and only repairing nokias, we do not have to use nokias! Everyone with our business uses iPhones or Blackberry handsets. Not one person within our 19 staffed business uses a nokia.

Don't get me wrong, i see your point! People in the apple shop will have iPhones and so on but i do not work for nokia, i work alongside nokia.

A bit of advice, when you think you know something but actually dont, dont go running your mouth off!!!

Goodluck for the next time you try to belittle someone, it might work next time?

Yeah, and i work in Mobile Repair centre where 9/10 faulty phone are iPhones. Wll actually i don't but see how easy it is to just say something?

If you work in a Nokia repair centre then you would know that you are not allowed to use iPhone or any other phone, i know that as a fact that Nokia policy is that repair centre personel use Nokias to set a good example for customers.

Wouldn't it be funny if you went to a Apple repair centre to fix your troubled iPhone and the repair personel where using HTC phones? That would really be setting a bas example for Apple products, the least. Now you see how dumb it sounds?

Stop lying and just say Nokia N900 is faulty, that's it. Stop being poesers and pretenders cuase ver few people actually buy tha that bullcr*p some of you write.

we all respect to apple fans which i am one of them, i bought the iphone 4 the day it was relised. i can see the bar signal going down once i cover the bottom left side with my hand, it's not acceptable for a respectfull company like apple to bring out it's advisor to tell the users "simply don't hold it from there and i advise to use a case".. that is really bad.. we have to admit as fans that it is a killing failure in this model, specially that iphone in general have lower signal recieving comparing to NOKIA (i use both) and that from my own experience. apple dissapointed me , i paid UK 600 Pounds for iphone4

i just give credit to great technology, and this antenna problem is a major issue. instead of admitting to the problem, they come back and blame the customer for holding it wrong? tell me how should we hold it? since you've had no problems you've must've been holding it right....or are you?

apple needs to release a how to guide on how to hold your iphone4 the apple way.

Touch wood, i have not had one fault with my iphone 4 and if i do so what, all phones have problems!

first of all n900 is the best, and iphone4 sucks. why? well the only way you can use the phone is by not holding it the way normal people would hold it. but no matter what we say here, apple and apple fan boys will defend it and say we are holding it wrong, LOL, fan boys are funny. the only way to use your iphone is by bluetooth or speakerphone since us normal people can't hold it. the new ad for iphone4 should be (can't touch this, unless your an apple fanboy)..... funny how apple is currently looking for antenna engineers lol i wonder why... it looks me to that apple focused more on the design, than usability of the design. apple phrase of the day: "it doesn't matter if it doesn't work, it looks good"

to be honest if this phone came out a yr ago on a normal price plan and not the price iphones r comin out with then i would of got it, but its now a yr on since features like, so called 720p etc.. came out, so come on ppl ur not tryin other phones out, and u should coz theres many phones wat dont have the apple logo what kicks any iphone and always will do.

most ppl dont know anything about mobile phones and get the iphone purley coz its cool and they feel they look good, well wen i see one of my mates with one im like, y did u get that its shite and they respond to dnt i know it, for the cash its a knock.
most ppl i know who has a iphone dont no about mobile phones, so this is where apples promotion team come in handy, by tellin them iphone is the fone to have and havin such a good support team is the main thing.

so even iphone users r complainin that iphones aint so great.

u see most iphones wen ya on the london tube or trains, and thats because most of them ppl work up the city and again is gettin the iphone, just to look good,

when i show someone my i8910 my friends r like, can ur phone do this and they will show me something, n im like yeh my fone can do that and more and my fone is a yr old haha.

so ppl if u like the iphone coz u feel u would look good then go ahead and spend ur hard earnin cash of this shite thing.

and for u rich boy, get alife mate, anyone can afford this iphone, u dont have to be rich to get any iphone or any mobile.
