India has probably the most rapidly expanding smartphone market and yet HTC is reluctant to launch its best flagship phone in India?????? Dont understand their marketing strategy here... Thought they wanted to recover from the loses ijncured in the last 2 years....
On the contrary, they should have launched both the version of the 10 in India and it will be evident that there are takers for both.... The SD652 version should proced at around Rs 25000 and the SD820 version at around Rs 55000.....

HTC if you want to launch only HTC 10 lifestyle in India, price it below 25000/- so that you can get at least some mid range share% , no way it should be priced more than double of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with same specs, i know xiaomi camera sucks and all but still. You also have to compete against Mi5 which packs HTC 10 like specs at same price.
PS Best phone in India right now - S7 edge

Vasi, 13 Apr 2016Snapdragon 652 is the thirst fastest processor as of now pe... moreits performance equals to that of sd808, but the gpu of sd652 cant outperform adreno 430 of sd810 which is utterly worthless for a flagship

unlike other countries indian people buy phones by paying total price at a time no matter how much cost they are. if carriers are present in india like in US, the manufacturers can make a fortune

Snapdragon 652 is the thirst fastest processor as of now people! It's faster than 800/801 and similar to 810.
The 652 naming doesnt mean its a less performer... It should've been 815 or something in terms of perrformance!!
Check Qualcomm's website for more details.
Also for me 3gb RAM is sufficient.
But I agree that Htc shouldn't change the processors or reduce RAM. It will devalue their brand.
I would buy it if it's priced at 40k.

Hello,
Being a big time user of HTC One series for last few series, every year, some or other problem comes with HTC One. Pink tint in some m7 models, no OIS on M8 and M9. Now this snapsdragon and 3gb version loaded on India. What is the need for such fuss. Simply make one for all. Doesn't it sounds great and simple and easy. One for All.
Indian customers willing to pay big sums for best. So if SD820 costs around 55k INR, then its ok. since iPhone 6s 64 gb costs around same.
Hope confusion is clear.
Regards,
Vinay Manjunath

I'll be honest. My "desire" was to buy LG G5 this year. But the design and the build quality was a big turn-off for me. Never been a big fan of Samsung (exynos). So in a way, I'm was out of options to buy myself an 820Soc powered phone. (Even Xiaomi is selling Mi5 with the lite version of 820.) The "explorer" in me had given up. However after yesterdays launch, the hope of buying an 820Soc powered premium phone got rejuvenated. It's like my "hero" has come to rescue me. I loved the phone, can't even begin to describe all the features that "amaze" me. Please HTC, don't kill my "dream" of having one of the best flagships of 2016. This phone could be the "one" for me. All I want is an "incredible droid".

I still think the latest statement made out more out of fear after seeing the outworst from Indian users who were patiently waiting for this flagship upgrade.
"No specific time-frame" still says the story. If they had the plan, they should've let it out by now. Looks like protest on decision of launching SD652 has taken them completely by surprise and now they don't know what to go next.
Nothing on dual sim as well.

Remember India buys the most expensive smarphones as there are no carriers here. And unlocked phones added with duties land at high cost, yet this is one of the fastest adopting potential market, so if HTC has no respect to that then its goodbye from India. SD820 or packup your bags

I also hope this is a good news too for us , Indonesians, since they only put the lifestyle version on their site
