LG's new Rolly Keyboard 2 rolls up along five key rows

14 April, 2016
Remember the LG Rolly Keyboard? A wireless portable keyboard that one could fold into an easy-to-carry stick. Well, a successor to that device has been unveiled. Appropriately dubbed Rolly Keyboard 2, the new keyboard contains several improvements over its predecessor.

See LG - it's not rocket science to come up with some practical ideas! ;)

Laser keyboard is way better at saving space. Why they dont installed that to the smartphone? Or make a module of it in LG G5?

Also, for those who cant afford a Surface.

My $10 desktop keyboard works totally fine, after 9 years..

Anyways, this is specifically for those who travel a lot.. But yeah, LG could have lowered the price atleast a bit..

This seems pointless for a phone but when working on a tablet, say, in Google sheets this might actually be useful since tablet keyboards are usually quite awkward to type on. It's a niche product but a nice alternative to other travel keyboards.

They are solving the wrong problem!

People don't want something as long as a keyboard is wide to try to store on their person, they want something that will fold in half or even 3rd to fit into a pocket, in the same way a phone or wallet will. The Rolly in fact requires MORE space than a flat keyboard that can slip into a backpack pocket.
