Anonymous, 16 Apr 2016Reduce the ridiculous prices!!!The out of line pricing is just part of their problem. Apple no longer produces the premium product that justifies the price. People now look at the choice of phones available and the iphone no longer stands out like it did 5 years ago. There are other phones with equal or better performance with more features.
The iphone is terrible value for the money in today's market. The only way they reverse this trend is if they step up the quality, add features or drop the price.

Well its just released phone and it doesn't sell that well. IPhone selling two or three times more with half year phone.
Biggest online shopping site in my country had nice place for S7 in first week, since that i haven't seen it top selling phone list in any day, iPhone has three places there almost every day. So it looks like after the most hardcore users have upgraded the sales already slowered a lot for S7

The iphone 6s is the culprit for this,because let be honest and say it for once.... Its the most blant,unremarkable and unimproved "s" we ever seen.
Just to remind how innovative and bold was Apple not long ago:
Iphone 5s
-64bit processing (first)
-fingerprint scaner (first perfectly implemented feature)
-bigger pixels/brighter aperture (not first,but certainly best 2013 cam)
-dual tone flash (first)
-120/240 fps slo-mo video (first)
All these features were bringed by the iphone 5s,and become the "norm" in smartphone world.It took up to two years some of these features to be implemented as it should in competing smartphones.Apple shows its game A with the 5s!
What happened last time Apple?!?You were sleeping,or you think that your's customers are 'sheeps'?
Iphone 6s over the 6
-4K video recording (it was time)
-Live photos?!? (c'mon ?!?!?)
-3d touch (gimmick for now,and maybe forever)
So noting strange if their sales is down.What were they think of?!

IPhone are bought by Apple lovers they can't compete with Android on build diversity. But it's software is the main selling point. Android can't beat that.

Same happening to phones which already happened for tablets, phones are so good already that there's no much reason to upgrade anymore, this same happened for whole phone industry.
People are going to use their current phones longer and longer

Everyone is waiting for the iPhone 7.
Of course the main problem is: iPhones are expensive all around the world. If Apple lowers the prices theyll sell like hot cakes.

I think recent bad marketing ideas from Apple could hurt them more, than some would like to admit. It's not like Apple is the only company, that reached this point. Nokia and HTC was there, then the fall came. To be honest Samsung is slowly getting to that point too. Like people before me said - there are many alternative, good quality devices, that can appeal to people these days. So the main selling point is gonna be the price for most, something that Apple fails to understand. Time will tell though. Who knows? I could be wrong.

Maybe they are the best selling phones,but they also suffer from downward market trends.And besides that,this year "s" was the least compeling "s" for upgrade.
