AnonD-84261, 19 Apr 2016Ok Mercedes benz doesn't sell cheap cars, they sell expensi... moreStop being delusional for a second. Mercedes bmw and most other luxury car manufacturers sell their cars based on premium branding and they do NOT offer value for their money. A 60k$ mercedes doesn't have all the bells and whistle of a 60k$ hyundai. Apple is in the same boat (shall i say car since you are a confused child) as any primarily luxurious company out there. Samsung and all android oems out there are just like hyundai toyota honda and every other mainstream car manufacturers out there. They sell all kind of cars and most try to offer more features for the money. I might have hurt your feelings by saying samsung is a general brand and not a luxurious one, but you should face reality. I really think you should live your life better and stop reading words by words and start understanding what a comparison or analogy is for a minute.

Dont be so naive people. This is just another tactics of chinese businessmen to boost their stock value. They will create a buzz by buying their own phone to lure investors to buy more share not knowing its indeed a sinking company.
That type of scheme is very rampant in china, no wonder why their their market cant recover. True investors are cautious. No confidence.

Mkdc, 19 Apr 2016How so? Mercedes doesn't sell cheap cars (just like apple),... moreOk Mercedes benz doesn't sell cheap cars, they sell expensive cars but their all expensive cars have the top notch build quality and lot of features.
Hyundai on other hand manufacture cheap cars but value for money as they are not as much as reliable and valuable like Mercedes benz and bmw.
                Now lets come to apple...
Apple iPhone is not valuable or collectible and apple sell cheap iphone at higher price without giving any type of features like micro sd etc.
So please study life bit about cars and stop comparing mobile device business with automobiles business.

AnonD-84261, 18 Apr 2016Your example related to cars are illogical How so? Mercedes doesn't sell cheap cars (just like apple), hyundai's cars lineup consist of cheap to luxury (just like samsung). Hyundai equus is 60k$ and mercedes' e-class is in that price range, and mercedes e class absolutely destroys hyundai's equus in sales, just like apple iphones heavily outsells samsung's galaxy note and s series, but when we account for cheap and midrange, hyundai and samsung have both a higher marketshare than Mercedes and apple, respectively. So tell me how this is illogical? Can you give me a better analogy for samsung and apple? Of course not.

"...apple's premium dedicated brand." - IPhone SE XD Apple is losing its premium feel more and more with every new release. You know why it's successful in Asia? I've been to many oriental countries, and I've found, that people there like IPhones not because they are premium, but because they are American brand (even though still made in China). Especially southern Asia is highly influenced by American culture (since WW2) and they just love all American.
