People enough of your comments regarding who is the best just buy what u can afford and rather talking about what screen has to be used if HDR screen is available or not makes no sense if u guys are so dam experts why Don u invent ur device with your own factors and use it your self... Come on we are talking about a giant tech company who knows what has to be done still people Don get it Sony makes huge money by their camera lenses used in Apple Samsung and what so ever devices u guys use

I dont think this phone will be using SD820 on 3GB RAM. I think it will be one of the first phones to use the SD823 with 4-6GB RAM.
Frankly I'd rather have a 5" screen on FHD, but i am glad SONY is taking a BIG step forward with HDR Displays.
I don't use VR, so FHD is more than enough for me. So in the end i think i will buy the X Performance.
I dont care about the camera, radio, ir blaster, fingerprint, nfc bla bla bla..
All i want is SD820, SD Card and waterproof.

I think 4K is pointless too on such a small... moreall you who are saying it's pointless are either misinformed or trolls, because you are not forced to buy X premium there will be X performance with excellent FHD ,just like Z5 and Z5 Premium you will have a choice. Personally I think that QHD is useless and gimmick ,FHD is more than enough. Higher resolution then 1080p only makes sense if it's 4K UHD. simple fact . I will go with X Performance since I don't need 4K screen but I will consider X Premium it if it turns out to be beautiful designed phone like Z5p .

At first glance, looks interesting, this series Xperia X from Sony. I'm waiting to see what price it will establish, for sale. If put those prices prohibitive, as in the past, then it won't succeed this series.

Wait a minute...
Where has it been told that this X Premium would come with 4K display?
" That particular device was the first smartphone to sport a display capable of showing 4K content, and if this report is accurate then the X Premium's main differentiator will be the screen too."
This obviously means that like the Z5 Premium, this device would come with a special display. In the case of Z5P, screen had 4K. In this phone, its HDR display, not 4k hdr.
Because other sites report this device is having a 1080p display, with HDR
So please stop the nonsense about 4K.
