Why didn't LeEco use a LTE Modem on the Helio based devices, that is similar to what Sony uses in the Xperia M5 (E5606):

LTE Bands: 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 17, 28
UMTS Bands: 1, 2, 4, 5, 8
GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz

It would be more compatible & could be carried by/used on North American carriers with that Modem.

AnonD-206292, 20 Apr 2016They have priced Le Max 2 and the other two phone well. But... moreSome of your hopes are true for the LeMax2 (from LeMall site @ http://cn.lemall.com/le_max2/parameter.html):

      LPDDR4 4GB/32GB (ROM); UFS 2.0
      LPDDR4 6GB/64GB (ROM); UFS 2.0

It is only 3100 mAh for the battery capacity.

The most unfortunate thing is that it is only USB 2 for the Type-C connector and not USB 3.1

They have priced Le Max 2 and the other two phone well. But some details are yet to be confirmed, which would make or break the deal for many like the storage and memory type. Hopefully its UFS 2.0 with LPDDR4 Ram on Max 2.
Also the battery is on the smaller side if you consider 5.7" QHD screen, and I am pretty sure its not gonna have a good battery backup even with all the optimization.

Apart from technicalities discussed by viewers on this forum, this Le Eco stuff does'nt hv anythng great going for them. I hv been using le1 since launched? amd it is headache already. Battery is the worst which they can bug being a hardware problem. Less than desirable camera ability is another. But lets not sxpect any goodness from average chinese co!
Try spending more to other trusted brands in the biz. Its a waste of money on such brands!

AnonD-400379, 20 Apr 2016I don' know why people are so much after MT processors, now... moremaybe because MT are generally cheaper

End of jack in phones. I welcome that, its not like some new type of jack is needed like with usb, if it can go through that c port. May be that not everyone will go for it in a half year, but in year it will be surely one of cool hi-end parts. Pretty ironical is that G5 with DAC got 2 jacks, they could also omit them...

All is well except for memory expansion slot. Also all your existing headphones are useless with LeEco handsets.

Edb, 20 Apr 2016Yes, very expenssive indeed. They start at 6 bucks on amazo... moreThe 1star and 2star rating on them explains everything good ones cost more and no one will spend that for an SD card and just imagine how slow the phone will be after you put a 128gb SD card and move some apps to the SD card if then not everyone over here lives in the us or China to get one for cheap in some parts of the world they are very expensive my comment was for the people who live in that part of the world and where this phone will actually be released I don't see this phone being released in the us and Europe
