A failed iphone 4 clone!
This galaxy is the worst! It has the unpopular mircosd card format, who needs mircosd when the iphone 4 has 16gb. Also flash sucks and is super laggy, who needs that crap.
And a removable battery is a waste of time as the iphone 4 battery lasts for weeks on 1 charge. I dont need a spare battery with this kind of battery life. And if you drop the phone the battery comes out. Not in the iphone!!!!!!!
This phones battery lasts only 3 hours my uncle has one and he says its battery life is poor!!!!

Last time I checked 1/2 of iPhone users were fashion addicted Bruno lovers :D
For them the iPhone is an accessory, that's why it's nice looking, fashionable and a little pricey.

Last time I checked they miserably failed at promoting this phone with every mouthwatering features this phone has & they promoted things this phone didn't have!
Now if the price will be right I will be getting myself this phone ASAP!

Got this handset on Saturday, after selling my wave s8500 to my work colleague. Personally, and this is a personal opinion entirely based on my personal experience. 'The iphone 4 is nowhere near to the offerings this handset has.' My wife has a iphone 3gs, and got her upgraded to iphone 4, did not get chance to play with her handset till yesterday, and I cannot say how bad I felt. As much as I have to appreciate the efforts apple has placed in making the iphone 4 better, I believe they have not reached the top of the mountain. I strongly feel that iphone users are deprived of the goodness that Galaxy s has to offer. I do not think I would ever want to look at a TFT screen on a mobile phone again.
Don't get me wrong because I'm not saying the iphone is a bad product, but comparison to the Galaxy S is unfair. I believe the Galaxy is way faster, and far superior when it boils down to usability.
(Once again, I have just stated in the comments above an opinion derived from personal experience, and have no intention to hurt or take a dig at any iphone users.)

Great news, the Galaxy S is a better phone than the "over-hyped" and better marketed iphone 4. Which sells more due to mindless masses that like being told how to hold their phones and what they can and can't do with it.

The plastic that is used for the back cover feels like an iPhone 3GS plastic....

Dave, 05 Jul 2010I agree Great phone but needs camera flash. But I find this... moresome variants of the galaxy S have camera flash.. the epic 4g has it, the vibrant(?)(the one with the 4 capacitive keys at the bottom) also has it.
Nonetheless, its great even without the flash.. the only need for a flash is for lowlight conditions, and even with a LED flash, those pics will not look very good anyway.. I think flash is pointless in phones.. unless its xenon or something

But I find this weird looking at the upcoming phones the Vibrant, i897 captivate and M110S Galaxy S they all are more or less the same but still dont have flash for the camera? Are they never going to add it in?

For a phone without a camera light or physical shutter release, and shoddy build quality - over it's far more robust brother, the Wave, this is surprising. What Samsung need to do is combine the Wave with the Galaxy, with optional Bluetooth mechanical keyboard. Now that would be nice.
