Samsung Gear 360 goes on pre-order in South Korea and Europe, costs €350

Samsung dropped the price of the Gear 360 ahead of the launch; hit the shelves on April 29 in Korea and May 22 in Europe.

    The best 360 cam is senseless, if YouTube and Facebook will not increase the bitrate for 360 videos. The compression and quality loss is too high.

          this cam is just for casual use, for professionals i see only one possible set of tools called "lytro immerge" and if one compares that to anything available its a leader in the market given its usability and scale. the gear 360 is just for fun at the park or something similar to that not for commercial content production in my view.

                  now thats something to look foward to. when then gear vr was released it always felt like there was something missing from the whole experiance hope this camera is not disapoiting. and i just hope samsung will throw in as many shooting modes as they can just dont hold back on features and roll em out as updates pls cos this cam costs as much as a midrange phone at this price so endulge us the galaxy fans this time.

                        This is the world's best consumer level 360 camera. Right on time for the consumer VR revolution that Samsung helped start years ago. Excellent combination with the Gear VR.
