Plus as in galaxy note 5 lack of external storage means when you software crashes and you need to flash it then you have to say goodbye to all your photos and videos

What i hate about samsung is the UI THe UI Is not pretty much user-friendly and the camera lens is not falt to the boddy so when you put it on your desk the lens will face hardship

Sony's prices were a bit higher than the competition but that was expected since they introduced the quality and craftsmanship of design in the Android world before Samsung started to copy their concept. My Z2 looks like a new device almost 2 years after I bought it. But now their prices are just obscene and ridiculous. Especially since they don't offer anything unique any longer. Not in design, not materials, not in anything. And now they have brought the specs down and jacked the prices up... Who in their right mind would buy Xperia X over the cheaper Xperia Z5?! Epic marketing fail, it's not just about poor advertising. Sony's marketing division is a pure joke. Coming from a heavily disappointed fan.

I love both the design and the technical facilities, Sony serieX this. It was as if do with "eye". But all the more interesting, yet remains, LG G5.

Well, the price is a little high face of reality costs and especially the brand. I see that many think they rig here. Who wants to buy, you buy. Who doesn't want to buy, will not buy. Sony knows best, what price to ask.

This is really disappointing. Sony doesn't really know how to price their phones right. Ive been a Sony user for years but these mid-ranger prices isn't right. They have to wake up before it's too late. If they are same like apple that only selling flagships, then maybe the price is reasonable.

Or ironically, if they are 'paid marketers' as you say, then they probably do have better things to do, but are just doing their job.

They want their product as exoensive as iPhone without thinking that iPhone is iPhone people are screaming to buy iPhone regardless of its high price. I love Sony phones also (aside from iPhone).

SONY should go back to their 5.5" as their fkagship phone. I don't know why they discontnued after Z5 Premium. SONY why not Z6, Z7, Z8, etc etc like iPhone and Samung's S series S5, S6, S7 and so on. 5" now as a flagship is too small. I love Sony but I don't think it's difficult for them to survive and compete with iPhone and Samsung.

Apple is very careful with their products,and although not many,they are always near the top when it comes to their quality,execution and user interaction.Users of iphones are always ridiculed as non techy,which couldn't be more false! I personally know a lot colleagues (MD,PD) who use them... no big deal.And anyway every third or second smartphone in use is iphone.So your example with the Cr** doesnt hold ground,and i saw it more like a joke (and really hoping it was).
P.S.On the comment section here at GSMArena i noticed (duly) that many people from third world countries DO worship iphone and look at it as a status symbol.But that is entirely different issue,for which i don't even want to discus.There,maybe your thesis will hold true :(

It's the initial buzz company's most want to capitalise on, and that buzz wears off quick in this market.
Yes by September the price of the X might be lower, but by then this device will be largely yesterdays news.
Just look at the likes of the LG G4 for instance, the price of that rapidly fell a few months after its release, but that didn't result in a massive upswell in their sales figures did it? And why not, because by then the buzz had worn off and something new was on the horizon.
Sony's mobile division badly need a sales hit, the X would stand a much better chance of being that if it landed on the market at £400. At over £500, most retailers will just point people towards the S7/HTC10/G5 etc.
