      I get updated my device yesterday night. In the initial conditions I have its performance better than others two versions. Touch whiz works never better than this. Improvements in finger print sensor it's make more perfect. I found no loss in of attempting to. Icons and gallery is redesigned and intire looking good. In this pros there was some cons. 1st ui and notification toggle is unchanged. Also the Samsung keyboards follows them. Besides that devices does well in the heating problem. Hope well fixing the problem soon later. For took a fresh experience in the old manner you to try that update....

                              Anonymous, 27 Apr 2016Thank you for your reply. Very informative. One thing , I... moreYou should tell me.

                              Do you use any apps which specifically require Android 6.x.x?

                              If not then it probably depends on which device you have.

                              IF your device meets the following criteria

                              --> 32-bit SoC (e.g. SD800/801/805)
                              --> has LESS than 4GB RAM
                              --> AMOLed display

                              THEN I believe (and this is strictly MY opinion) an upgrade is NOT worthwhile

                              1) Because Android 5 and 6 were specifically designed with 64-bits SoC's in mind.
                              2) The supposed battery saving features are nullified by the use of too much white in the UI which is especially for AMOLed-equipped device BAD for battery-life.
                              ---> for the less tech-savvy readers: White uses the most power on AMOLed-screens, BLACK uses NO POWER at all since the black pixel is a powered off pixel in the display-matrix. This ONLY applies to BLACK, not gray or dark.
                              3) Certain Android 6 features were previously and already implemented by certain handset-maker's software-tweaks/variants (e.g. Touchwiz, Sense etc...).
                              4) The majority of apps run fine on everything from 4.2 upwards. Only a handful of apps actually benefit from (a) specific Android 6 features e.g. RAW support.

                              there are probably more reasons to stay put on kitkat or lolipop but these are just a small selection

                              If your device has
                              --> 64-bits SoC (e.g. SD810/820)
                              --> has 4GB RAM or more
                              --> LCD-panel (instead of AMOLed)

                              Then an update to Android 6 might be worthwhile

                              Why on LCD-panels? Because most battery drain on LCD is caused by the lighting of the display-panel either side lit or back-lit (screen-brightness) not on the amount pixels. Whether you use a black or white pixels the amount of power needed is almost the same since the majority is needed for the side-lit or back-lit lamps.

                              Keep in mind though that specific 64-bits apps are (slightly) larger and thus need more RAM and more storage space.
                              Also remember that some features (e.g. Themes) from e.g. S6/S7 are NOT implemented in OS-variants for e.g. S5 which may cause battery-drain due to the many non-replaceable white elements in the UI. Lighter colours in the UI and apps annoy your surroundings when you use the phone in a darker environment (e.g. Cinema) or at might.

                              I hope this give the less tech-savvy readers at least some info and/or enough items to think about (and perhaps question what's happening).

                                Like I said before: "Samsung, USE GODDAMN BLACK in notification panels and other UI-ellements! And STOP removing (important) features!
