Policarbonate is not cheaper than cheap aluminum on iphones, but is actually more practical. The reason Samsung phones are so expensive to made is that they have cutting edge technology in displays, memory, camera, battery etc. Those are mad and designed by Samsung and not available on the market. Apple on the other had uses outdated components which are widely available on the market even prom the cheapest suppliers and therefore iphone costs $120 to make (while Samsung costs $250-300). That said Samsung is much better value even if it is plastic, but as you might have noticed .. Samsung makes Premium grade metal phones for nearly 2 years now... Your comments are no longer relevant.

Of my earnt money on any plastic phone,specialy from sammy,day light robbery what they ask for for the hard working man,!

Just by bringing back the micro sd card slot on the S7 & S7 edge just shows to Samsung that there idea of copying Apple with there S6 models,what a very big mistake they made,Samsung should think about there own phones instead of thinking what Apple as to offer,We missed the Note 5 in europe so now we finally get the Note 6 with the micro sd card slot and upgrades from the S7 Edge with Camera and Battery,the only downside of the S7 edge was the speakers as there not as loud as the S6 edge models because they did not offer waterproofing,some hope the Note 6 speakers are a lot better

Crapple uses inferior 7000 series (bear in mind the higher number means worse for aluminum grades) ... something similar to cheap spoons and pans from soviet union.. A lot to be proud of isn't it? And the software updates on android at least fixes the bugs, not introduces them.

Samsungs revival over the last several quarters has been no doubt in part to the s6/edge, note 5, and now the s7/edge models, they got complacent a few years back with the s3-s4-s5 but its good to see that they adapted to market desires and have produced some cracking phones, i had s6 edge note 5 and now s7 edge and its a stunning piece of hardware, still a few little tweaks i feel in the RAW camera software department but the camera itself is amazing, great job

Their operatijg profits increased because S7 and S7 Edge's first impressions were fantastic
There were millions of pre-orders across the world
And pre-order price is usually high
That may be the reason I guess
And even late market release of its main contenders like LG G5 (still not available in my country), HTC 10 and many more..

Yeah, all because they brought back the memory expansion. Look how poorly S6 and the Note.5 did without memory expansion. Bring back IR blaster, removable battery - all what and how Samsung was all better from the rest, and you got a clear winning product(s).
