For me 5.5" is perfect screen size as it fits in my hand easily and i can operate it by one hand.

It's not, it's the one most used. 5 years ago, the results would be 4-4.3 inches, which is closer to the real answer as far as mobility goes.
People like what is familiar not what is best. Most studies have concluded that any more than 4.5 inches is detrimental to ergonomy, but users don't care, they buy anything that is familiar to them....

My preference is 5.5 - 6" is the best as nowadays the bezel is getting slimmer.

Best till date.. Lg Gpad 8.3.. Once you go 8.3" you'll never go back.. Although no simcard I use it together with a small good old nokia

this poll means nothing,
there are more people with smaller palms than people with bigger palms,
there was no need to make this kinna poll you genius guys,
you should have made your poll based on people heights,
EX:people below average and average have voted for X" screen size.
and people above the average height have voted for Y" screen size,
you could ask for height as an addon to the poll below average and average and above average.average could be 180cm.something like this.
honestly, when i have a big palm why would i care what are people with smaller palms using? and vice versa.
taller people have bigger palms large clothes with large pockets in general isn't that a bit obvious? is it really so hard to figure out?

But this will only be true for while,if the fold out flexible screens expected end of this year,early next year,then phone sizes are going to change,no need for a huge body for a huge display.smaller body with flexible screens should suit more people.
The one thing that still suprises me is that still no-one has made a 5.2-5.7 in her,with a slide out qwerty,we can make 5mm thick phones,we can make keyboards same thickness,so why has still nobody put the two together,put together with a stylus system,the perfect phone for a lot of folk,remembering how popular they where a few years ago,how many tytn and tytn 2's did HTC move ?,half the phones i used to see had slide out qwerty...

5-5.3 is the best, with a good screen-to-body ratio and slim bezels. Not too slim though, as having no bezels makes the device very prone to breaking.
5.5 and above are for HUGE hands people or show-offs.

First of all wrong interpretation. Not more than 5 inches, but most people want exactly around 5ish inches, not any bigger also. At least in case of my vote. I also want smaller bezels - the argument of bringing touchscreen too close to the palms is invalid - firstly, see the galaxy edge series where the screen IS a bezel, second of all there are top and bottom bezels to remove on all phones so far except those cool Sharp phones that removed the top bezel. Point is, I voted for 5 inches thinking I want around 5 inches of screen, but I want it in a smaller footprint than current flagships. So I don't want "more than 5 inches, even though I voted for the 5 to 5.3 category. I think at least many people there thought like me. Could you please correct that statement?
