Don't buy this phone as it comes with Snapdragon 801 which really old now and not as power efficient as current processors.

By the way i have a Xiaomi mi3 and planning to by redmi note 3 but with with zuk 1 releasing in India ,i'll buy that.
when i bought mi3 no phone below 25k could beat it so i bought it.but now the competition has saturated redmi note 3 is not infinitely better than lenovo zuk 1 .So i will prefer lenovo any day

People buy brands based on what they think of it. People buy brands they love and respect. Had service centers anything to do with leadership position, Ambassador (car) would have never died.

So I don't see a reason why a user wouldn't prefer lenovo over xiaomi even if Xiaomi better phones at better price

Using this phone for a month now I must say it is one of the best phone I have ever used ... A guy who used (htc m9, galaxy s6, sony z3 and lg g4)...
The battery, the freaking amazing software, the camera ( dont know why others reviewers bull sh**ing about it but its really amazing both front and back).. Just go for it guys you wont regret it :) and ya thank me later!

usually outdated phones doesn't sell well in India without a ground low price. if that's not the case this will fail and there is a chance for lenovo to misinterpret this failure as Indians don't like high end devices. but the truth is in India outdated and under specd than other market phones will not sell much. this can be seen as an attempt to change history.

Something is there ....all manufacturing company first lunch their product out side INDIA. When it fails to deliver as per their standard they push it to INDIA with other name. What we all are using (one type of crap) as per international standard. Now lenovo is lunching Z1 which is almost 1 year old. They took one year to lunch this product in INDIA. Is it so hard ???

Z1 is coming to India though very late, but at least its launching and hopefully they'll launch Z2 as well. And branding it as a Lenovo phone is a clever idea because barely anyone know about ZUK in India.

even though snapdragon 801 is 2 years old .It still is a pretty reliable and better than all mediatek crap chips and snapdragon 6xx(excluding 650 and 652). If they price it under 12,000 it will be the best deal after redmi note 3.

Z1 just launched in China, and not even started sales. Also Z1 in China comes with ZUI. for other markets, it's cyanogen. May be under development, it may launch in India along with other markets since there is no restrictions
