with the OS1.6 donut i usually get 23Mb remaining RAM, with this one 40-50MB free RAM

Your shiny iphone happens to be built in China, having things built there is considered a privelage nowadays. Because of the Foxconn incidents, workers are now gonna charge more for work, whereas markets will look elsewhere in Indonesia where the labr is cheaper than China's. Blame it on Western companies exploiatation of developing countries for cheap labor and poor pay, you reap what you sow. Now that chinese workers are speaking up, companies are looking elsewhere to explot cheap workers.
From the tone of your voice, you probably still think there is a cold war going on and that the USSR still exists, Japan is still booming (second largest Economy it is but purchasing power wise, China eclipses it) whereas signs show that Japan is in decline and that China is now the big daddy of Asia and has the world's largest army (although not comparable to the US Military just yet) and not aware of the fact that China is nearing superpower status and is a member of the UN Security council and one of only 9 nations that posseses WMDs and the boom of it's cities with high speed rail and impressive airports like Beijing and Shangahi's maglev, buildings like the shaghai tower and Pingan Finance center in Shenzhen which upon competion will be the second or third tallest building, eclipsing the freedom tower in New York by nearly and over one hundred metres and many more down the pipeline. Don't forget other rising economies like India and Brazil.

Good to see that Acer hasn't forgotten their customer base. If they are consistent with updates for their devices like this, then more people will consider to buy their android powered headsets.

I have a liquid and am very very impressed. For the price you pay you get one hell of a phone - screen looks lovely and the white edition is perfect!

While everyone knows that Android is a good OS, the build quality of these Acers are like straight of the China factory, and i mean the cheap factories. Acer used to make very good phones, in build quality, but the Liquid ones just look and feel like plain cheap plastic.

You should know that the Liquid and Liquid E are not identical. Liquid E has 512 MB RAM. It makes it way more fast than its older bro Liquid.
