i'm all for it aslong as it's intergrated into the os and isn't an app. It would also be nice to offer both phone and memory card encryption like nokia's e series.

I really like this program they've put together, or well putting together. I use my Blackberry all the time, with my new line of work. There is a lot of confidental information that I often worry about, if it were to ever get stolen. All I've had to grant any ressurance is the Password Keeper app, and change the security settings on it so that a password needs to be entered everytime you unlock the phone. I like this app, because even though I'm very careful, its nice to know that I'll beable to pretty much wipe it clean from anywhere. Tracking is definatly going to be better, because the GPS Locator App, kills the battery really quick. I can't wait to see this come out. I hope my company will let us upgrade lol.

Nokia's Enterpise series phones have the same features, bar the wireless backup.

Ehhh.. I am a both a Blackberry 9700 and a Nokia N900 user. Very nice of Blackberry to bring this, but making it sound like Blackberry invented this is kinda harsh on Nokia. I have been remote wiping and looking my Nokia phones since 2002.

Just like MobileMe Find my iPhone, even making a sound when on silent is copied.

I've been using it for over a year now, it's handy when you misplace your iPhone when it's on silent.

Nokia Symbian S60 phones has couple of apps at ovi store with quite similar functionality.
One of them is free, called "PhoneLocator Periodic".
You can get your lost/stolen phone location using it.

Another is "F-Secure Anti-Theft for Mobile" (i guess its also free).
This one may wipe your data, or lock phone remotely.
