If you had read the article correctly, you'd know that it says if you purchase the Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge anytime during the month of May 2016, you'd be eligible to get the GearVR for ₹990. How to get the deal? Once you receive your Galaxy S7/Edge, install the MyGalaxy app and you should see the deal if the device was bought in May 2016. If you do see the deal, pop in to your nearest participating Samsung Mobile dealership and they'll give you the GearVR for ₹990. Once you get the GearVR, Google how to view 3D movies on it and you're good to go.. ;) Update on my eBay India purchase: has just been shipped. I'm hopeful I'll get the deal.

              As the Price of S7 S7edge has already discounted by woo $ no use buying at full price and paying 15$ for VR. It comes to same. Just wait by Sept original price will touch 600$. Can buy VR for 35. Or forget and buy Note 6 edge. It you choice!

                I bought the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge a couple of days ago on eBay India. Thing is, I've bought a dual-SIM version, which isn't for India (but will still work with local carriers). My question: will I still get the Gear VR for ₹990 deal? (If no one answers this question, I'll post an update later whether the My Galaxy app did generate the promo code for me or not.)

Samsung is reknown for constantly offering heavy rebates and incentives to buy their flagship devices all the time. It's on discount more often than at regular price..
