Current galaxy s7 is the best one so far, sure s5 has all these festures like waterproof. BUT dont forget it has old hardware as well 'worse' camera and etc. Removable battery sure would be better, but samsung wants to keep their good looking glass design, seems like they didnt figure out how to make removable back. Glass/metal is currently materials which makes phone Premium. Lg g5 lost all that hype because phone feels cheap, yes, its 'metal' but all phone is covered with plastic, which helps hide stripes on the back. I dont see any big inovation in lg, but thats very good that atleast one 2016 flagship has removable battery and not in a normal way but in modular way. Not many people would choose phone which has smaller battery + removable versus waterproof+big battery (s7 edge).

And it has gaps everywhere where dust can settle, there is also a huge gap for the magic slots which apparently widens and stuff over usage. They also use a cheap thin screen, if you press the screen too hard it starts to distort like some cheap Chinese phone.
Those are just the problems with the body, but if you look at the phone it has worse battery, worse display, no Samsung pay, worse camera. Basically worse everything.
Removable battery doesn't have as much value as you seem to think, most people never use it anyway.

A phone equally as powerful as the s7 but never lost its focus like samsung did for chasing and matching apple. You seem impressed by micro sd slot and water proof but you must have forgotten that the S5 had all of it two years ago and samsung crippled the s6 to make it look like the s7 is some kind of innovating smartphone (yes, some people are buying that innovative s7 idea -_- luckily, the majority of people are smarter than that) Did you know that the s5 had removeable battery and ir blaster that the s7 doesn't?

Both the first and last are good. The middle one needs some work - some people won't grab that its the payment by phone (next to a terminal) thats the point.

However, low light ca... moredude its not about the whole world inovation, its inovation for exact brand phones, obviously waterproof was already available on sony phones. But its a goal for samsung that they managed to put that on their phones. This is the whole point. Also bringing back sd card slot is one more victory. Though sd card was implemented years ago on other devices.
There would be a massive hype if nexus would support micro sdcard, trust me.

HJO, 03 May 2016i've just wasted my time to see these ads and i can say the... moreThe human eye aperture is F2.1 in the dark, while the S7 has an F1.7 aperture, so the S7 images do appear brighter than what a human sees. But maybe not that much brighter :)

Great improvements on ads by samsung. However, low light camera is the only real feature that is better than other smartphones. As we know, water proof has been done with sony xperia z many many years ago and mobile payment was already available in galaxy S6 (and of course, the first to make it mainstream, iphone 6)
