Since you clearly can't afford anything expensive, you will never understand. So i will repeat mysel.. go walk inside LV gucci and other unaffordable stores that you've never stepped in before to get a feel. Don't be scared, you don't have to buy anything when you enter a luxurious shop.

I mentioned value for money, simply because I've grown past the kids chase for *bling*, which you so want to hold on to. SE on par with phones in 2016? You must be drunk off your a$$. Poor frontal camera, not even HD resolution (screen tech basically 4 years old), weak battery (as always with iPhones), rattling home key (confirmed by TR and AA), same old design (like they couldn't just shrink 6), below average speaker, list goes on. You clearly are fanboy, and have very little knowledge of what makes a premium product (and what makes a good girlfriend at also). You know what? Do yourself a favor, go to a Hyundai saloon, and tell them to put 30% on top of their price, just because you want to satisfy your need to show off, that you splashed thoughtlessly a lot of cash. By claiming you know what premium is and then accusing iphone SE to be expensive (or in your words "no value for the money"), you seriously contradicted yourself right there. Go do research on what defines a premium segment (hint: value is NOT part of the definition) and research what iphone SE is. Just to give you a feeling of what to expect: iphone SE is more powerful than all 2015 smartphones out there and more or less equivalently powered compared to snapdragon 820 powered 2016 androids.
According to your style, girls who buy luxurious items is definitely not interested in you and either friend-zoned you or ignores you, but do yourself a favor, walk inside LV shop and walmart, and try to feel the difference.

And I'll tell you this - it ain't Apple anymore. But if you believe that, that's great, more power to you.
I'm not a "beloved" Samsung fan as you refer to me, in fact I'm very far from it. I never miss the chance to trash it for the same thing Apple does. Price. IPhone SE is a joke in terms of price. They basically took 5, refreshed it a small bit, and slapped a flagships price tag on it. Even Apple die hard fans were like "WTF?". Phone makes sense, price does not.
My only suggestion? Before you start judging people by your own "standards", look in the mirror first. See if the reflection is still there.

And my post is just to make you realize that samsung is doing an amazing job against other ANDROID oems but when you factor the market segment apple is serving (premium), samsung is a very very distant second. I don't remember exactly the numbers, but apple makes like 90% of mobile profits and samsung earns like 10%. FYI, apple is the most valuable company in the world with its limited products range.
Iphone SE is not a joke. It's a real flagship with top cpu gpu in the 4' screen category. Just like your beloved samsung is doing by releasing 78 smartphones per year ranging from 10$ to 700$, iphone SE's purpose is to serve a different market than the iphone 6s and 6s plus crowd.
there is no standard in value for money. Everyone's different. You never owned a premium car so you don't know what driving a mercedes instead of hyundai is. You never had a girlfriend (at least, one who cares about looks), but if you ever did and they bought a LV handbag instead of a handbag from walmart, you might start understanding some thing.

Problem is, their budget phones are priced nearly as high as flagship devices, so they are shooting themselves in the foot with that. Anyway...look, if you're happy with iPhones, that's fine by me. I prefer to look the other way, where I can get a little bit more, for a little bit less. I'm not really tied to one company, as I switch brands every 1-2 years, just looking for the best value. After all, whether it's Android or Apple, it's still a lot of money you pay for the flagship, I just wanna make sure it's a cash well spent.

Because you lack other arguments? And you're looking for some hole to justify it? About the other matter. A lot of people can afford iPhones, yet they go for other, better value for money options. Apple under Cook lost its greatness, and they are slowly losing customers, simple because of the jokes like iPhone SE (don't get me wrong, the phone itself makes sense, its price doesn't). Market shares tell everything. Over the last 3 years iOS dropped 2.7% in global shares and Android went up 13.5%. It's not only because Android phones are cheaper, it's because they offer much better bang for the buck, where Apple fails to deliver every single year. You don't want to believe it? That's fine, your choice. I'm not here to convince you. I simply defend my own opinion.

And again, plenty of people in EU, that have the money to go iPhone, yet they don't anymore. Apple opened people's eyes with SE joke. Now a lot of people see the balance between what you get and what you pay, and chose better value for money. I'm not saying all of them, but significant number.

You do realize Samsung phones are "more popular" because people can't afford iPhones? The average price of a sold Samsung phone is probably ~250 USD, for Apple it's more around ~700 USD. The percentage of flagships Samsung sells is laughable compared to Apple.
