      holy shooot it looks prettt nice, now I'm having second thoughts whether to get this or Sony Xperia X. Eitherway their both definitely Japan Premium made products and not cheap chinese one's. Guess I'm gonna do some toss coin.

                I like the design, metal frame sandwiched with dual glass,, there are antenna strip on metal frame to make sure death grip never happen , they know how to make a phone better than sony.

                            Wow those ridiculously large bezels from Sharp? Lame move from a company who knows how to make almost bezel-less phones. Instead of moving forward they stepped back WTH are they thinking?

                                The camera is probably bought from Sony, again as many companies do now.
                                Collaboration is very common and easy in the phone companies now. Samsung sell their rounded screens, Sony sell their cameras, LG sell their screen tech too.

Many phones look similar to many other phones. Your comment makes it sound like your saying Sharp are cloning Sony.
                                  But, it is a very good point. Apple have had some fantastically ridiculous lawsuits against Samsung. Remember the S2 that looked like the 3GS?
                                  Samsung have taken Apple to court for stupid reasons, too though.

                                    I think Sharp collaborated with Sony to make this particular phone (and further phones of Sharp if possible) fully waterproof. 22.6 Megapixel is also close to 23 Megapixel, so I'm thinking that they worked together, LITERALLY

                                      From when Ricoh is "premium"? Large, multinational... but not premium by far.. they don't even have reasonable DSLR, nor video camera.. the best they do are compact value based cameras... OK they are big in printers business, but that doesn't make them "premium" in cameras market .. maybe Canon, Nikkon... but not Ricoh... Ricoh is like cheaper than Sony (bare in mind almost all camera sensors nowadays made by Sony).... In plain language Sharp gone for "value" camera suppliers, not "premium" one..

                                        If Sony would have Apple like attitude, they would sue for many reasons.. because phone is square, because it is metal with glass back, because camera is on the same side on back, because MP count is around 21MP and finally, because it is potential competitor... Thanks GOD Sony is not Apple...
