The best feature youtube can have is to play contents in background! For me it's enough!😅

My devices must be different from everybody else's because I have been able to share YouTube videos and add comments along with the link from the first time I used it, from the heading of this article it's like it has never been available unless I have read it incorrectly. o_0
It doesn't make any sense to change it if it already works unless it's just more permissions in the YouTube app for Google to scrape another tiny little morsel information about you and all your contacts " for advertising " it reminds me of something else " B'n'L ".
Don't get me wrong Google is excellent and they have changed our lives for the better, but I can't see how this change will make any difference to the way we share videos, you will probably still have to choose a method of sharing like you do already.

ethereal, 13 May 2016The thing is almost every resolution on earth is supported ... moreIn that case it's probably Apple's own software preventing you from doing so. Weird really, to have this kind of issue in 2016.

Not sure if YT needs that. Messenger? Perhaps. Another social network? Hell no! Too many of them out there already. But that's just me.

ethereal, 13 May 2016How about enabling iOS users to select playback resolution ... moreThey probably will, once Apple push the resolution on their phones to FHD and further (because as for now, they go a small bit higher than 720p). Also that may be another problem, Apple's custom resolution. It's not the standard resolutions we are used to (750x1334, what's that?). But this is another problem for Apple, higher resolution means more RAM is needed, better battery etc. Besides, you know YT is owned by Google, right? Direct rival to Apple. That may be the thing also..."Wanna watch HD and higher resolution movies on the phone? Come to the other side." XD Just a guess, but who knows?

Rhino Freak, 13 May 2016You don't have that option? Dear god! Nope! No such option for iOS users. Not sure whether it's Google's fault or some *fake* limitations imposed by stupid Apple!
