Shaan, 18 May 2016I totally agree..Lenovo has managed to kill the Moto brand.... moreHere in Brazil the Moto X Play was released costing R$1500, now it costs R$1799, the Moto G4 Plus is R$1500, meanwhile you can find a far superior Galaxy S6 for R$1900, Moto X Play is fucking expensive and doesn't have fingerprint sensor, and the G4 Plus have a updated version of the SD615 of the X Play.

G4 Play should land on Sprint soon- it has the three LTE bands (25, 26 & 41).

Design resembles the look of lenovo lineup ...and i dnt like lenovo looks their flat design.
I love older moto G lineup which has curvy looks with rubberised back, easy to handle dsnt slips.

G4 Play should be rather next-gen Moto E. Unfortunately there's no reasonably-sized succesor to Moto G 3rd gen, which I was counting on. Standard Moto G4 has raised to 5,5'', which would cause a rather hard switch from 4,5'' Moto G 1st gen, which I own now.

The phones are actually Motorola, but Gsmarena decided to name them lenovo Moto G. But if you look at the box it says "manufactured by motorola". If you open the back of the phone it says "designed by Motorola" and most importan, if you open a benchmark app under device specs it says manufacturer/brand: Motorola
Gsmarena just got it wrong because a little corner of the phone box says Lenovo, but the box also says the Motorola name.
