Ditching X & bringing Z So Would it better as compared to hardware & software with some unique features of the Z Series.
    1: What Customer Want ?
    2: Need of Customer ?
3: High battary (MIN 4000+ mAh ) looking towards the usage of Smart phone.
4: Better Hardware on Phone to perfrom a bit better then the other competitor's on the Market.
5: Better Softwere & upgradable guarantee

This is what I am accepting from Motorola.

Ironic, Sony has ditched the Z series to bring in the X series, and LG ditches X to bring in Z

AnonD-205566, 19 May 2016In my opinion all those other phones branded whatever-X are... moreThe Moto-maker should - again - be improved upon, each iteration so far has been paired with an update to the maker. Look how far it's come since it first began.
With the addition of the 'modules' - they're not exactly modules but let's stick with it - it should again see some improvement.
I'm happy with the maker but they should be upping the game again now, more companies are releasing different backs and designs and add-ons. Especially LG.
I am looking forward to seeing the options for their modules.

Let's just hope that this mods make the damn thing look better, because if those leaks are the real deal that design is, at least in my opinion, a serious step back.
Then again, I wonder -if it is indeed the real deal- what the motomaker customisations might look like.

One thing's not clear to me, how can this still be a Motorola device when the Motorola brand name is no where to be seen? Aside from the bat wing Motorola logo. Isn't it Lenovo Moto X and G?

I think "X" obviously has more mystique than "Z." Unless you want to make it sound like you're making zombie phones.

I also think constantly rebranding things just creates confusing and does not add to the appearance of a quality product. Rebranding is usually a desparation move. Sticking with one brand concept and just making better phones is the better path.

You don't see Apple, the king of marketing and branding, introducing xPhones and zPhones. It would sound cheap and like a knockoff of their own phone.

And if you are annoyed by people's opinions.. Then dude you've got a serious problem.. #motoowner

I'm sure that if you read that for instance LG will launch the G6 with a 4.7" screen, you'll right away write: LG is going down..

                                Such an annoyance you are.

This actually makes some sense, the so called rebranding - since Moto is the brand not the X.
Not only because - as mentioned - Lenovo uses the Z suffix on their top end phones but also - it could be considered - as a way to differentiate itself it certain markets.
Sony have gone from Z to X.
Samsung will be releasing a Galaxy X next year - apparently.
LG have brought out 2 X phones - X screen and X cam.
Moto X would be just another X in the crowd, whereas the Moto Z - although sounding worse in my opinion - stands out a little more from the rest of the one letter wonders.
Personally I think they should start using actual names again. And no, I do not mean Jeff!
