May be it would be better if moto 360 does not get the update at all, current software works totally fine and battery life is also nice.

The only thing that bugs me is that the second it lights up, the screen colors are inverted. It's just a moment and then it flashes to what the watch face is supposed to look like, but it kind of bothers me a bit non the less.
Sleep as android is a friggin godsend

I'm guessing chances for my moto 360 first gen getting the update are pretty thin...

AnonD-126854, 19 May 2016The smartwatches a DOA. Give up. The slim beautiful smart-... moreSmartwatches could never replace the real watches.
Real watches are long lasting jewelry- no tech gadget could be that. Tech moves on very fast. And obsolete in months.
Smart-bands(not just fitness), if slim and elegant, with useful features connected to smartphones, tablets and laptops could be very useful, though. Unfortunately for the Wall Street- very cheap too.

The smartwatches a DOA. Give up.
The slim beautiful smart-bands are the future. But not the only "fitness" ones.
                      Mark my words!!!!

Well, very small market for standalone smartwatches could exist though.

Slowly but surely...it's getting there, but as long as an android smartwatch can't be used for 3+ days with one charge I simply cannot be interested. I'm thinking about buying a pebble as it's customisable and can be used for 4 days on a single charge. The only drawback is the fitness features that it does not (fully) have. (Heart rate etc.)

PS: Oh yeah, lets not forget compatibility (not really an issue, but I'm looking at you Samsung!) and affordability... :D
