As for your assumption on my choice, and you banding around conspiracies and strawman accusations, I use 'Start Page' as my search engine of choice, which happens to piggyback Google. So your assumption is completely wrong.

As for not bring any points to your comment, as you say. Well you were only waffling on about how stupid everyone else is, and how is has never affected you, because you are so l33t. So there was no real points to actually comment on.

Wow 21.6% of desktop search market share, not too shabby Bing. Also they should just add AOL's numbers as well.

Anyway, you talk as if Google service is something that is generally unwanted in fact it is Bing that is generally unwanted. I have nothing against either services. It's just that one is better than the other so most people don't want both. You on the other hand already seem to predisposed stance on what service you 'like' better based on some sort of conspiracy making you a some sort of a fanboy.

You also brought no points to my statement. Just a strawman.

Well, Microsoft recently disabled the ability to run Cortana through search engines other than Bing. So yes, that would increase Bing's usage... From 1% to 1.1% maybe?

with chrome no longer supporting Vista there will be a natural move back to IE and the default for that for many basic pc users

This is not very surprising, the Bing usage will raise together with Windows 10... as it is kind of internal feature as well for everyone who uses Office apps and Outlook mail... it always redirects via Bing... I am sure Microsoft soon face another antitrust case as it doesn't give any options there. On another had while Google is currently in spotlight they might get away with it.

Well I guess it helps that they have removed the option to use anything else with the WinX build in web-search, so people easily accidentally launch it....

Bing sucks, especially for students. At the university its the default search engine so I inadvertently end up using it, and I only realise I'm using it because it sucks so bad.
