Peop... moreI've had Lumia phones from the start too, and yes I know that call block has always been there (although my latest build of W10 it has been retired/sunset - awaiting the new release). My point is really that although it has good functionality - it is not as good as TrueCaller on Android for blocking spam calls. I love W10 interface so I hope they improve 3rd party apps like TrueCaller over time.

Windows didnt have that blocker feature, nokia used to build it into the OS. I owned a HTC 8S and it didnt have that feature.

WP 8.1 have call & sms blocker but no whitelist.
Android have call & sms whitelist since 2.2.
Does this W10M have call & sms whitelist?

really, gsmarena, wtf? call + sms filter is on from win 8 mobile. in any Lumia is Lumia: Help + Tips app. make a big article about this app, after you will try this and find many amazing things, I guess

The rest will understand the quality of the system. And GSMarena will give better info about it. Cause this news are put in a very dumb way. Windows has call blocker since i used it. That includes windows 8;).

I had native call blocker since windows 8. The only thing that's new about this is the name and some iinterface things. For the moment. The curent call and sms blocker is called block and filter, and it is found in call/dialed nr./ options/ blocked calls;).

It's not the OS I don't believe in, it's the whole company. I base my opinion on Microsoft's recent decisions, and every major decision was a mistake so far, starting with Xbone release. I'm using WP as my second phone all the time, and if what you say is true, then those remaining 20% in development won't change enough, to attract people to it.

Microsoft has squandered a great opportunity to build a viable mobile phone platform. Too bad they took down Nokia with them.

My two year old S5 already have this feature built in the firmware. Microsoft is so late to the table. I'm not biased towards Microsoft in anyway though as this comment is being composed from my desktop running Windows.

This feature is already on Windows Phone 8.1 called Call+SMS Blocker (or something like that) in its settings menu. It adds to the disliking value of Windows 10 Mobile that they did not include this feature upon release and are now only working on it.

Its about filtering marketing call based on business. Its available in android a year back and still struggle to provide right information. Come on Wake up! there r lot of thing around you. See it!

Once Windows10 is completed (almost 80% developed now), you haters will just have an awkward face seeing their advanced functions. You're just used with MacOS or Android that's why you keep underestimating Windows, specially Windows10

Microsoft has been a closed OS environment for over 2 decades now, they're not gonna change it now. And this is why WP won't have a chance to truly take off. It's awkward for the 3rd party devs to support the platform, so they hit other areas instead. And MS' support is very, very poor on its own.
