Oculus Store update prevents games from running on non-Rift hardware

Oculus pushed an update to its games store that requires users to have a Rift connected to download games.

I tried oculus on my note5.it didn't ask for headset to be attached to let me download.nothing's changed yet i assume

Fine. Who care. HTC Vive all the way then. Oculus sucks! Greedy pig! Gamers will hacks that software anyway. We always find a way to do it 'our way'.
