Spotify revamps its family plan, it's now $15 per month for six users

23 May, 2016
Today Spotify is finally bringing its family plan in line with those of its main competitors in the music streaming space, namely Apple Music and Google Play Music All Access. Both of these have been offering $15 per month family plans that can be used by up to 6 people for quite a while - Apple Music since its launch last summer, and Google's service since December.

This is where real inequality comes. This is not only about Spotify but about technologies in general. Computers, smartphones, accessories—they are all most of the time cheaper in United States rather than Europe. Perhaps Asia gets great prices too because of such giants as Samsung, Sony being located there but Europe is left with high prices once again. I'm giving comparisons about Europe as this is where I reside so it's easy to notice how things are different here.
