well, i've read the same report and actually, Australia and Norway are saying that the iPhone has the worst reception of any phone ever.

i good product is something that works well out of the box.

a successful product is a top seller when there are flaws.

i prefer to have a good product. at least the toilet cleaner do not use the same phone as i do..

So have you even used an iPhone 4?

Reports from Australia and Norway state that the iPhone 4 actually works better than other phones.

Telstra in Australia awarded the iPhone 4 a blue tick marking it suitable for use in remote areas after testing of reception and call quality.

Yet you continue with the rubbish that was started by Americans who have been complaining about AT&T for years.

            Brainwashed (by the media) much?

            You sure sound like it.

If it was a decent company that values their customers, they would take the phone out of the market, and solve the problems or even they wouldnt put it on the market.
Shame to apple and to the loyal customers.......OPEN YOUR EYES. yOU HAVE BEEN BRAINWASHED.

will you still buy this design flawed product if it hasn't got any apple logo on it?

It will cost you over £1000 after 18-24 contract, would you accept a cheap £1 case if this phone was made by other manufacturers apart from apple?

Whoopi goldberg advertised the IP4 for tmobile in the USofA... But she wasn't happy with the IP4 though, check this link out : http://technology.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474978379318

Japan's industry ministry has ordered Apple to report on measures it will take regarding cases of its iPod Nano music player overheating and catching fire, an official said Thursday.

Overheating of the 2005 iPod Nano while charging has caused at least 27 incidents, including six fires that required firefighters to be called, an official from the Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry said.

"Four people burned themselves after they touched the device, which had overheated during charging," he said.

"The ministry repeatedly asked Apple Japan to take market measures, such as giving warnings or recalling the products, but it has failed to do so," he said, adding the ministry issued the order late on Wednesday.

Apple has sold about 1.6 million units of the first iPod Nano model in Japan.

The ministry also ordered the company to report on incidents not only at home but overseas as well, the spokesman said.

The latest setback for Apple follows the launch of its iPhone 4, which has been dogged by reception problems linked to its new design and manufacturing issues that have led to the delay of the white version.

We got a demo iPhone 4 today, it launches in Australia tomorrow.

First thing I did was touched "the spot", nothing happened, then I held it in the "death grip", it dropped from 5 bars to 4 after about a minute.

                                  Vodafone no problems.

A guy from the Virgin store brought his demo up to activate it because his iTunes wasn't working (v8), so we tried "the spot" and the "death grip", nothing happened, we couldn't get it to drop a bar.

                                  That's on Optus.

Then we laughed because tomorrow we will make a lot of money as people will be lining up to get them and we have physical proof about all the bullish*t!

I imagine one could create an application that could change this indicator remotely. With this application one could "proove" anything one wanted regarding mobile phone reception.
