Marshmallow update starts hitting Nvidia Shield Tablet LTE as well

When Nvidia started rolling out the Marshmallow update to the Shield Tablet K1, it said that the original SHIELD Tablet - including LTE models - will also get the update in a few weeks.

Sadly I travel a lot and used SMS to great advantage. So useless without simple SMS. I have no relationship with ATT yet they have crippled my unlocked device. I now must experiment with the ROW ROM or custom ROMs. Why any company gives a carrier that does not have a relationship with the end user privileges is unjust!

    Horrible update.... this update killed the SMS feature on the LTE model. I was able to send an receive SMS and make calls with Hangouts and the hang out dialer through my LTE service. Now I can't even acces the function to enable SMS in Hangouts nor can I set any other SMS apps for my main SMS app. If I pop out my sim card I can acces and enable SMS in Hangouts. But as soon as I pop it back in SMS is disabled. Hope this can be resolved.
