darkforest has posted the newer XXJP2 firmware. It is a complete flash file unlike the XXJP1. Yes, you do risk voiding your warranty by trying to flash your phone.

Anonymous, 28 Jul 2010Exactly! I use LED flashed and my photo turns out kinda was... moreSimply put, no company will ever make a phone which fills all the ticks. If they did there would be no point in someone upgrading. Example, Galaxy S has no flash. Samsung will be able to release GS2 with flash it it will make u want it more. Its not that samsung is a mean, every company does it. The worst is Apple, at least the other give big improvement in upgraded models. The difference between iphon 3g and 3gs is just stupid.

Yet a crap. gmsarena makes money promoting a Buggy phone then wasting the consumer's time with experimental upgrades. Who may follow such logic excepting those who don't have a job and some iPhone haters.

The guy from samsung-firmwares that posted this firmware stole it from a Samsung server. And said Samsung gave it to him. The Russians posted one from a service center. The one the Russians posted is the correct full version that will be released in Kies.

Anonymous, 28 Jul 2010fine so make it xenonYep, Xenon would be great, for all high-end phones.

Why they even bother with LED lights, apart from use as a torch and -possibly- as a video light (for things you're trying to film less than 6 feet away...) I don't know.

But no flash vs LED 'flash' is far less of a difference than most people realise, in practice.
