Even though they are processed at 28nm HPm, the a53 cores are efficient in nature so the efficiency disadvantage compared to a 14nm a53 is not too big to be called a marginal one. It's like the a57's story on 14nm: it is still battery-hungry despite the shrink in process. Like those on the 810s.

My concern here is that when you do intensive cpu-related tasks to the 625, its clock will redline sooner. Depending on its cpu head & memory controller and other software opts, those a53s singing in high pitch will either succumb to throttling or will reach thermal envelope(software with persistent peak sustainability design). Well whichever comes first will result in poor performance. I am talking about high cpu workload, so you might not misinterpret.

It would be better for a53 to call for big brother's(a72) help when he's in a pinch.

Anonymous, 26 May 2016SD625 is a midrange, not a low end. This phone looks like ... moreI don't understand all this "This phone looks like this phone". A phone is a phone. There is not much one can do with an object of a certain size that we want to be able to hold comfortably in our hands and use with ease. It's like the humble house brick. You can change the number of holes in the middle, or the shape of the indentation. But ultimately, one house brick looks a lot like another house brick. Ergo, one easily usable phone is going to look a lot like another easily usable phone.

Of course, that depends in a great manner of firmware and software optimization.

will this chipset use in budget phone

Julliard, 27 May 2016With that low res display I am not surprised it last longer... moreThey may be expensive but Apple supports them via software updates. My 2011 iPad 2 still enjoying the latest software.

Not a beast? Single core performance? How about in the graphics department? You haven't use one for gaming, have you?

Screen resolution is enough for the display, to be honest. But if you can support your argument find another 5.5 inch 1080p Android with better battery life than the 6/6S Plus

And still Android loyalists still think it's for show only. Dude the only issue her is customizability of the handset because it's a closed ecosystem for Apple.

Again I'm just being objective here. I have used Apple and Google products. HTC and Samsung as well.

Yes I am an iPhone user and Android as well so I compare those two on hand. No bias.
