that pretty much makes your recommendations redundant. unless you try a phone before you buy it you can't really moan about it afterwards.
you'll probably be the first to buy the N8 and then whinge because it didn't do what you wanted it to.

those in asia good news for them nokia has decided to launch it. in india even the ad has gone on air featuring their top actress some priyanka.........guys have fun!it will be avilable by in indian markets by their upcoming festival some divaaali.or at the most by new year!

WELL GUYS if you are criticsing in terms of specs n8 has best specs if you consider it in right terms.it has better camera than satio with wide lens ,better sensor,hdmi port,dolby sound,mechanical shutter,xenon flash,hd 720p recording,amoled display,large 3.5 inch display,even 256 mb ram does good ,because it was impossible to put 512mb or 300 mb ram in such a sleek device.the processor delivering the speed required.in all i would like to conclude there is no pratically difference between n8 and other phones with high processors and high ram.there very few phones with 522 mb ram in market.we made everything you need in a mobile pc cheif marketing supervisor

Nokia,
Work double overtime and launch this phone right away! Delays make a bad reputation. Just have that in mind. Next time, surprise people with something awesome! Don't rush in giving the public a hint to the next flagship and yet delay releasing it for months! When you show a flagship phone, make sure to release it within weeks so the excitement is still there!

Oh i remember the good old days of my nokia 6630. Despite its 1.8mb ram, i could run 5 symbian apps hitch free. (java apps were a different story lol). And that was 2003 and s60v2.
My nokia n95 8gb has 128mb ram. I have never encountered a ram memory full error and thats not cuz i'm a merciful user. I regularly run up to 15 different apps including the likes of nokia maps, opera mobile(not mini), and n-gage simultaneously. Now somebody is telling me 256 mb is inadequate. For symbian, i'ld say its excessive. The memory full errors in nokia n97 weren't as result of inadequate ram but an ill posted os.

What I would suggest you and your Nokia Team is stop announcing the product in advance and delays in release. Fans are hoping to buy the mobile eagerly and the delay causing them disappointment. Nokia has to stop false commitments especially on Nokia N8. Earlier announced the price tag @ €370(before tax) and now increased to €460.

Not everyone cares..
Before AMOLED,TFT..
After that SuperAMOLED..
Now SuperLCD..(HTC)
And what again after all those LCD??

Screen for a phone is juz for the visual..I means screen typ e is important but great function for a phone is more important..
Example: appl e iphone 4(640x960 res0lution) but function is crap,outdated..You know?? If put the multitouch on NOKIA C6, iphone 4 is kick out from the stage..at least NOKIA C6-00 is a real smartphones..
