Wrong wrong wrong you guys are posting wrong info.
The "new Redmi 3" is listed with 4000mAh battery and a 13MP rear cam with 5MP front cam. Basically these are not new phone or successors, they are the same as the current model with SD processor.

I am waiting for the company to come out with 5500 mAh+ removable battery and dedicated memory slot (expandable up to 200 GB) with separate dual normal/ micro sim slots and FM & FM recording apart from other features currently provided on mi5 with little extra processor speed and more RAM. Some heat dissipating / cooling mechanism should be used inside phone. Screen size needs enhancement to 6 - 6.5 inches. Back panel to be loaded with solar panel. Phone should not be too slim.

Even if its redmi 3 facelift, it just has 2gb ram.. 2gb ram in 2016 is too low for even mid range.
