AnonD-442287, 30 May 2016PS4K won't run games on 4K. atleast not with stable frames.... moreI didn't say I want them to run 4K games, what I really want is exactly like you said my friend. 1080p max out and higher frames can already satisfy me and fyi I don't play 4K on my PC I use GTX 970 to max out every games on 1080p :)

so the only thing the new ps4 gives is a small notification on the TV screen saying '4K @ 60Hz' and delivering that fake satisfaction that a player is playing at 4k? i'm confused.

AnonD-442287, 30 May 2016PS4K won't run games on 4K. atleast not with stable frames.... moreActually, since you took the liberty of bringing that up, it will not *render* games at 4K (as that would require an insane GPU) but it will output games at 4K (read upscale, much like what all consoles have done so far with Full HD and even 720p).

Right now (multi-platform) PC games are limited by what consoles can do. PS4K is no different in regards to PS4. But does that mean it won't be worth the upgrade? I highly doubt it, as will anyone who has played with a mid-range GPU in a PC -- despite being limited to "inferior consoles", just like in PCs, PS4 games in the PS4K can greatly benefit from this upgrade.

games have bugs, you cant get rid of all of em. but bugs exist in consoles too.
if you just look at bugs in PC port and not on console, then that's your fault. not the whole platform's fault.
i've seen some great games on PC run very stable since day one. i don't now which game you have to wait weeks to get playable.

it will be targeted to players wanting a better PS VR experience as it aims to provide a more fluid VR framerate. currently, PS4 games struggle to stay at 60fps at 1080p. PS4K will provide stable 60fps @ 1080p. that's it. not worth 'upgrading' tbh.

P.S all above statements are provided from leaks, rumours etc and my own common sense.

Hmmm...totally agree about the fact that PC ports suck big time..take arkham knight for example. took 3 patches and 8 months for it to work at acceptable frame rates even on a beast of a system. PC gamers are always given the step child treatment. these things make me wanna switch to PS4 but cant play dota 2 or CS go on it so.......
