This actually makes sense - despite the comments already here. This is an entry level Sony - with entry level specs. The RAM makes sense due to a more efficient Android base - yes it is - so less RAM is needed. This isn't a heavy user phone so 1.5gb is fine. The CPU is the same - fine for what it's aimed at. The screen could have been a 4.7" but obviously Sony followed the majority of customers that are used to 5" phones now and have become the 'norm'.
Cameras are average for Sony. Design is plain and basic. Battery will - probably - be adequate.
Price is actually right for this. If you think and look at the market.

i'm very disappointed, i'm waiting this cause i thought it would be my next phone but they made it 5.0 inch screen plus the price is not good at all! :(

Confusing phone ...
Too low-specced for E199 price tag. Spec-wise, it is entry level, price-wise not. Camera is too high for entry level.
I am still figuring out the 1.5GB RAM :D :D

4.1 bt, 200gb sd card... moreE5 is big improvement over E4 and awesome low end phone at good price but for 50 euros more you can get their own flagship two year old Z3 which will get even android N LOL sony will kill it with their own devices also M4 aqua is not much more expensive than this either...Sony drooped the price of their older phones too quickly :D

if they made it 4.7 inch then the price will be more cheaper but 5.0 inch screen is okay! Good Job Sony!
