btw i find it funny that the other guy wants this cpu in smartphones the next year. i hope he was joking.
but if you come to think about it, maybe a T or a U version of this chip coupled with water-cooling and maybe it could be put on a mobile phone. the phone would need a large battery to just stay on for maybe 1-2 hours. smh mobile technology has a long way to go. i'd say 10 years minimum.

Now that Intel after spending billions of dollars has given up on bending their current architecture to fit mobile then they should either jump on the ARM bandwagon like Qualcomm or if their heads are too big for that then start over on a new CPU architecture for mobile to compete with ARM. But forget about silly small stuff like this new 10 core power hungry inefficient baby sitter.

Intel processors only for rich people. And me thinking that i bought a core i7 920 at 7 years ago for the equivalent to $275(€275). Intel has been increasing the price of top chipset processors, inflating year after year, bunch of thieves!!! In once of drop the price of the hexa-core processors which already exist to 6 years ago, they keep the same price tag. Hexa-core should be mid-range now in this time.
