So, any device will be working with the current chinese version but essentially that is a beta version.
Global beta versions have a basic difference of the language and a very specific location based apps.

FYKI MIUI8 is based on material design hence MIUI8 is android through and through it has nothing to do ios minus the app drawer which is popular in China as most of the phones launched in China even Samsung, LG etc don't have app drawers

I Pity on you....for your limited understanding of the topic. Lag is usually due to UI by the manufacturer and is exactly not a problem of OS. Try Nexus and all ..it experiences almost no lags , its only when manufacturer puts a skin on it..it becomes laggy .
