So in now way Samsung could copied crapple. First phablet ever to be released was Galaxy Note back in 2012 and was instant hit without as single feature copied from crapple. It was not until 2014 apple followed with they dreadful craphone 6+ which was poor quality, bendy, cheaply made, nonfunctional and overall one of the worst phones ever made. Only 6s+ was more like a usefully thing. but rather just large iphone than proper functional phablet.. nothing to come close to Samsung Note.. which is de facto king of phablets.. that is not even my opinion, but long standing stats from industry, users feedback etc...

Huawei and LG did bring the dual camera setup to their flagship line. Its no brainer that Samsung will copy them at some point. They almost always copy the trendiest design and hottest feature available feature at the market. They change a little here and there. Add more on the specs and viola!!! For a customer, we should not complain. At least they listen to your needs and they tend to force the competition. Originality are for bragging rights I suppose.

Do you know who makes apple? Samsung, LG, Sony, Toshiba and some local chinese manufacturers... Can you tell me now how Samsung can "copy" something they made at the first place.
Apple gadgets, inverse colours (yeah right), mobile hotspot, CAPS lock and adaptable keyboard any many more features were copied from androids. Normal tren following applies to all companies.
I am sure you are sitting on iphone 4 and with mind set back from 2010? Am I wrong. I definitely cannot afford latest phones so now trying to pretend you iphone 4 is the best phone ever and upgrade is not necessary, especially to android device and in next decade you going to save money on iphone 12 and will be bragging again (obviously if apple survive that long at this rate of failure).

It has no better battery performance, nor smaller chasis, nor Super AMOLED screen, nor real water-resistance rating, nor memory expansion, nor dual SIM slots, nor better screen resolution, nor faster focus and nor low-light camera performance.
Expensive? iPhone 6s with 16GB at $649 at Apple's website. Definitely less in features. Not worth the money.

Again even talking about legacy devices .. plastic doesn't mean bad quality. If you say that S7 is worse quality than, HTC 10 or G5 or iphone 6s .. then you probably haven't had those phones or even seen them.

::: HARDWARE :::
Aluminum Unit, Removed Card Slot, Nano sim, Border Divider in the Unit (iPhone is using since iPhone 4 in 2009), Speaker placement and small holes 100% similar. The performance of Samsung's 4 GB Ram is less than Iphone 5s 1 GB ram.
(For more clarification Test Asphalt 8 game in both iphone 5s, and Note 5 side by side, Iphone 5s will winn :-D )

Yellowish Knight mode, inverse color, Application swapping swiching effect, perhaps many other not in my experience

I am not a crazy fan of Samsung ...coz they always trying to copy APPLE in hardware sense This is Another Flop phablet like Note 4, Note 5, Iphone 6s Plus Still on Top in phablet family in sense of accuracy and Software performance.

Yes we know G5 and 10 is better in certain scenarios, but G5 is ugly phone and 10 is total crap and camera is poor in the low light. But even then the margin is so small that difference is impossible to tell (at least g5 vs. S7)

It has been proven that consumers will pay extra for Smartphones if the cameras are better than the current competition OR is at least close to point-and-shoot cams' speed and image quality.

Hasn't been explained time and time again and for nth time?
NEVER compare a DSLR with Smartphone Camera because the 2 technologies are WAY DIFFERENT in terms of hardware and software architecture.
You are comparing apples to oranges in this manner if you do so.
1) DSLR cameras don't require dual lens setup because their lenses and sensors are BIGGER. Unless you want to have THAT SAME SIZE in your smartphone's camera, you won't be seeing it in Smartphones anytime soon
2) DSLR cameras have more complex hardware setup. Hence, their device's thickness. If you want to add in smartphone functionalities, prepare for a FATTER device.
3) UI and Software for DSLRs or ANY OTHER standalone cameras are optimized for their hardware which current smartphone OS (may it be LINUX, ANDROID or iOS) can emulate BUT for the price of additional internal memory and RAM. which in turn, requires additional price when selling it.
These are only 3 of the numerous reasons why a smartphone camera is NOT comparable to DSLR.
I support dual camera setup because, given the current sensor and imaging technology we have that are *FIT* for smartphones, we will need it to compensate the weakness.
So far, the closest still image smartphone camera that can be likened to a DSLR's image quality is the Huawei P9 which is a dual camera setup.

calvin, 03 Jun 2016so they skip the Note 6?yes so that there will be S7, S7 Edge and Note 7 so all Samsung flagships will have the same number so it will be easier to know from witch year note.
