Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet now comes with a metal shell, 64GB storage
02 June, 2016
The storage seems to be tied to the new shell (the plastic shells are still available, but cost the same).

There is nothing FIRE about a 1280p screen and 1GB of RAM.
With those specs it should cost half of what it does.

The difference isn't much. Just cosmetic and storage.
I think they should have done a complete overhaul. Bump up the resolution, bump up the ram, camera etc.
I mean that 1 gig of ram? On a Tab? In 2016?

For the money you can get a much better tablet that doesn't haven't such a horrible display and specs.
