VR won't be a flop and can't be called a flop even now because it's barely utilized in its infancy. VR makes more sense than 3D TVs since the immersion is actually there.

All daydream capable means is a bog standard mid ranger with a few more gyroscopic sensors,nothing difficult..
All for nothing,as more people get to try the current state of the art VR,they will quickly realise it's not ready by a long way,it may work,just not very well,and if your hoping to run a decent VR rig with a mobile phone,then your really living in a dream world,give it another ten years of cpu/gpu evolution and it might just work,otherwise expect graphics from a 1998 game standard and all sorts of glitches and freezes etc etc.half decent VR needs powerful desktop level kit anything less will be a horrible experience.bloody useful in industry,Realy not much use for normal home consumers..to be convincing,everything has to be done at 4k as a minimum standard,still not much being created in real 4k,most is boosted 1080 hd,so what are folk going to be viewing in VR ? A few games possibly a few films then what ?.
When we have real,good VR it will be briliant for education and industry and for a small segment of home users,the rest of the population are already yawning as soon as they hear VR mentioned...

Honor 4X has this feature, daydr... moreDaydream is the name of the new Android VR platform announced at Google I/O this yearc unrelated to the screensaver thing that most Androids have. Daydream VR requires some specific display properties and very good specs, so most current Androids are not compatible, except for the Nexus 6P, which is itself only compatible for development purposes - we don't know if it will still be compatible on proper release.

nkwama, the Daydream you know is being renamed as Screensaver; they new Daydream is VR-related.

did I miss something here? Honor 4X has this feature, daydream, enabling it will make ur phone to display pictures while charging.

AnonD-544671, 03 Jun 2016Xperia Z n X series is rocking bro....but yes Huawei is doi... moreI would believe that Xperia Z and X series are rocking as you say if for the rest of the year I would not be coming across analyses or reports of shipments faltering, expectations slumping, or sales declining, whether at a steady rate or abruptly, from credible research firms or officially from Sony, particularly their mobile division, themselves; also if for the upcoming months I would not be stumbling across any workforce-related official reports or news of truncation or demotion within Sony Mobile. They have about 6 months to go, I am no Nostradamus but I am expecting any of those this early, so I would not be surprised later on. Also, I foresee that one of these days, I would be seeing the root word, 'truncate', or with its additional suffixes in some article by GSMA; literally, as in the near future or did I just gave them a hint that would cause them to manipulate the future now that I have spoiled them?

Never again with Huawei. I bought the Honor 7, and while hardware wise the phone is amazing with probably the best camera around, the software really sucks.
They are still giving people Beta Android 6 firmwares with missing functionality, but the worst thing is that basically the notification system is completely broken. You get notifications once you restart the phone and after a while they just stop appearing, major dealbreaker...
